Cara was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and Health Administration and later a Master’s in Higher Education Administration. After grad school, she moved to Corpus Christi, Texas to work as a Student Activities Coordinator for Leadership Programs and Student Organizations at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. In her position, she served as a Chapter Advisor for the University’s chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success for 3 years. Cara’s passion for helping students grow as leaders drew her to the NSLS National Office where she builds even more leaders by working with chapters from across the country. In her free time, Cara is a huge Detroit sports fan, enjoys reading and video games, and spends time with her fiance and their dog and two cats.
